what is fuel?
Middle School (5th-8th Grade)
Fuel is a high energy program. We meet on Monday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Student Auditorium. The music is loud, the games are wild and crazy, and there’s a short, practical message. Students get to make new friends with each other and their leaders in a small group every week.
Kaylynn O'Vell, Middle School Director
Kaylynn is newly engaged to her fiance Drew and recently moved to the Grand Rapids area after earning her degree in Youth Ministry at Indiana Wesleyan University. She has worked in various leadership roles at Springhill Camps over the past few summers. She loves students and enjoys hiking, camping, and playing the violin.
Throughout the year, we have some amazing events for your students. For all the details, keep scrolling...
Rhythm is the theme for camp this summer. You may hear us talk about "NTS" which stands for "Never the Same". NTS is the summer camp we attend 4 hours away on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University. NTS is a week filled with team competitions, amazing music, an incredible speaker, and a week your student will never forget. The dates are June 17-21.
This month we are starting a new series called Inside Out. We all know that God calls us to serve and share His love with the people around us. If we’re being honest though, this doesn’t always come easy. In this series, students will discover that the way we serve and love not only has the power to change and impact others’ lives, but our lives us as well. It can change the world—and us—from the inside out.
